Upper Frederick enjoys a rich history, and a number of local buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In fact, the Henry Antes House is even listed as a National Historic Landmark! The home, built in 1736, served as George Washington’s headquarters during the Revolutionary War during the Philadelphia Campaign. The home is located on Colonial Road and now owned by the Goschenhoppen Historians.

Upper Frederick Township is served by the Boyertown Area School District and most homes use the mailing address of Perkiomenville, Green Lane, or Schwenksville.

The township encompasses part of Green Lane Park, which offers plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities including fishing and kayaking, as well as over 25 miles of trails!

While Upper Frederick Township is largely residential (no big box stores here!), residents love the convenience of nearby Collegeville, Skippack, Harleysville and Pottstown. Tons of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores are located just minutes from peaceful Upper Frederick Township.
